With over 50 years of breeding Red River Border Collies, I believe what makes our dogs so special is their ability to have an off switch. They can be whatever you need them to be... a working dog, a sports dog, or a loving companion. Our Red River Border Collies will work diligently until you tell them to stop, after which they happily go into the house to play with the grand babies. They are extremely smart and eager to please. Our only requirement is that our pups win the human lottery. If you ask your Red River Border Collie to be exceptional, then we expect you to match that standard. Border Collies are very social animals, so include them in every aspect of your life. The most important thing to remember about these intelligent dogs is that they need mental stimulation, not just physical exercise... and love... lots of love!
